Blake |
|
One
of Irelnd's greatest photographers who has produced several high end
limited edition books alongside his commercial work See the new work,
a collection of semi abstract images from the seashore....these are
some of the most inspiring I have seen. Liam describes them thus:
A collection of Photographs from
Brittas Bay Co Wicklow. At times
after high winds and tides, the sands
on the beach are shaped into
beautiful abstract formations |
| Victor
Sloan |
|
Victor
Sloan employs a unique technique, combining photography with painting,
sometimes using collage. He manipulates his negatives and reworks
his prints with paints, inks, toners and dyes. |

Begley |
|
Classical
meets painterly abstraction:
"Through motion we yearn for stillness and vice versa.
One creates perspective on the other. Experiences become stories, legends,
myths, then paintings perhaps. I leave for Berlin soon and expect
this will soak my life in new stories." David
Begley, February 2007

Quinn |
|
Dublin
based abstract artist whose works exude a quiet, subtle, sensitivity.
The paintings exhibit used, distressed surfaces and employ a toned
down colour palette. An artist to watch, who shows at The Taylor Galleries,
Dublin. |
| Sarah
Walker |
|
Walker's
paintings record the seasonal changes of colour on Beara, where she
lives. In recent exhibitions the West Cork work was primarily small
square canvases, painted in multiple sets, featuring high relief paintings
of native flowers or fruits in random patterns.. |
| The
Rudra Chronicles |
|
The
Chronicles of the sage Rudra, a creation of Tim Goulding. This fellow,
far from living on a pedestal, is the one you might find at your dinner
table or in the shaving mirror. Some characterise him as 'The Root
of All Vegetables' and although taken to be a sage by many it turns
out he has a body of straw and feet of clay |
| Tim
Goulding's Blog |
|
Occasional
diary and daybook with wry commentary on anything and everything.
Also a record of Tim and Georgina's travels around the world 2004
/2005. |

In the
tradition of Haiku, a personal and well-told visual poem of daily
life, delivered in colourful but sensitive visual language. This is
an award winning short animation from a young artist to watch who
is currently studying at NCAD, Dublin. |

| William
Samuel |
|
A
website devoted to the teachings of the late American Teacher William
Samuel. Their website describes their group as follows:
'A
gathering of folks from all walks of life, people of all religious
and philosophical outlooks, Eastern and Western. We are neither
a group nor an organization. We are unbeholden and unattached to
leaders or an intermediary. The Seminal Idea of Truth is capable
of standing on its own. We spend no time worshiping the fountain,
rather, we drink the water. . .' |
